5 Highlights from this Trip:

  1. School Visits in Gothenburg — You'll spend two mornings inside Swedish schools, connecting with local teachers and getting a real look at how education works in Scandinavia.

  2. Paddan Canal Tour — A guided boat ride through Gothenburg's canals and the Göta River, taking in the city from the water and spotting the wildlife along the way.

  3. Royal Palace & Old Town Stockholm — Tour one of Europe's largest palaces and walk through Stockholm's medieval Old Town, including a 13th-century cathedral that's still very much in use today.

  4. Skansen Open-Air Museum & Viking Museum — Two of Stockholm's most iconic spots back to back. Skansen spans 75 acres of reconstructed Swedish history, and the Viking Museum brings that era to life with hands-on exhibits.

  5. Nacka Nature Reserve Hike with Campfire Lunch — A guided 10-12 km hike through Swedish forest and granite cliffs, with a campfire-cooked lunch in the middle of it all.

Group Activity: Nature Reserve Hiking Tour with Campfire Lunch

Escape the busy city life and explore Swedish nature on a guided hike through the stunning Nacka Nature Reserve, just outside Stockholm. This tour takes you through dense forests, along lakes, and over high granite cliffs, offering a refreshing outdoor adventure.

We start directly from our office at the edge of the reserve and walk into the heart of the wilderness. An experienced guide leads the way, sharing fascinating insights into Swedish culture, local wildlife, and the area's geology. While the reserve is home to deer and other animals, sightings are not guaranteed.

The hike includes some off-trail sections, adapted to the group’s abilities and weather conditions. Halfway through, enjoy a campfire-cooked lunch in a secluded spot. During fire restrictions, typically in August, we use gas stoves instead.

After hiking approximately 10–12 km, we finish the tour with a short, 20-minute public bus ride back to Slussen Subway Station, where you can continue your day in Stockholm.
