This was an incredible trip to Iceland, and overall a wonderful experience. Our group leaders, Kim and Rianna, were fantastic. They were organized, attentive, and made the entire trip feel easy from start to finish. A bonus for me was Rianna’s photography. She captured so many great photos that I know I’ll be grateful to have for a long time.
David, our local guide, truly elevated the experience. His knowledge of Iceland, steady pacing, and ability to show us as much as possible made the trip memorable. His recs were excellent and added a lot along the way.
I would definitely recommend Bookbag Tours to anyone looking for a well-run and meaningful way to experience Iceland.

Just got back from an unforgettable trip in Iceland. Both leaders Rianna and Kim were so attentive and organized the entire time. David, our local guide, really made the trip incredible! He did an excellent job showing us all the cool spots and as many things as we could see on the island. We had the best food recommendations and lots of memories I’ll never forget. Love the ease of Bookbag tours and all the new friendships I’ve made!
Wow! Bookbag Tours knows how to make memories! This was truly the trip of a lifetime. I wish I could take a trip with BBT every year because I am bringing back so many photos, knowledge, and stories. I can’t wait to share my experiences with my students and teammates!
Already saving for my next BBT trip…
I had a good time. The group I traveled with was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the food tour in Athens and the time on Santorini. I would have appreciated more guidance about restaurants for free time dinners. The free day activity was a must see (Meteora), but was not given enough consideration by the Bookbag Team as they were booking through a third party. Transportation to and from was a disaster.
This was my third summer traveling with Bookbag Tours, and I can confidently say it was my best trip yet! I love that we got to travel to two countries: France and Switzerland. Each city was unique and fun to explore. The leaders were amazing (including our French connections). The school visits in France were informative, engaging, and fun. I think our group as a whole fell in love with Switzerland. Such a beautiful country. I’m already planning my 2026 trip!
