This trip includes educator discussions, offering authentic opportunities for cultural exchange and professional growth. While you may not be matched with your exact grade level, you’ll gain meaningful insights to reflect on and bring back to your classroom. Participants will receive a certificate for 20+ professional development hours. The true magic of PD on this trip comes from the organic conversations and connections you make with fellow educators along the way.

Graduate Credits- In addition, we have partnered with an accredited university to allow participants to earn 1 graduate credit for an additional $100 or 3 graduate credits for an additional $300.

Additional Notes: If you booked the Lima Cooking Class it does not include extra time in Lima and we highly recommend booking pre-trip accommodation. You will be picked up from your hotel at approx 10:00 (10:30 from Aug-Dec) and taken to a local market and restaurant to prepare and enjoy a traditional Peruvian meal. You will return back to your hotel around 13:00.

When we arrive in Cusco, we will settle into our hotel and then go on a walking tour together.

Walking Tour: Acclimate to the altitude with a leisurely walking tour of Cusco’s charming streets, plazas, and markets. Highlights include the stunning Plaza de Armas, the impressive Cusco Cathedral, and the vibrant San Pedro Market.   • Qorikancha: an ancient Incan temple in Cusco, Peru, once dedicated to the Sun God. It showcases stunning architecture and intricate stonework, reflecting the Incas' engineering skills. The site features a blend of Incan and colonial architecture, as a church was later built on its foundations.
